ABOUT ROORKEE
Roorkee town is situated at 180 Kms northeast of New Delhi, the capital of India , 30 Kms south of district Haridwar
(Uttarakhand), the most sacrosanctness place for Hindu religion. Roorkee is well linked to other important cities by roadways (NH-58) and railways.
The climate here is extreme during winters as well as summers. During winters, the temperature falls down to as low as 1 deg.C. In summers the temperature goes up to as high as 41–43 deg. C. The rainfall is average and the downpour is heavy in the months of July and August.
